Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the township’s governing body. They make decisions on budgets, policies, and township services, and oversee the overall operation of the township. The Board also approves development plans, ordinances, and other important community matters.

Supervisor

The Township Supervisor serves as the chief executive officer of the township and is a member of the Board of Trustees. The Supervisor oversees daily operations, manages township staff, implements board policies, and often acts as the township’s spokesperson.

Clerk

The Clerk manages township records, writes meeting minutes, pays bills, oversees cemetery records, handles elections, maintains the township website, and manages public documents and correspondence.

Treasurer

The Treasurer handles the township’s finances by sending out tax bills, collecting tax payments and other funds, and keeping accurate financial records.

Proposed Projects: 

CSX Railroad currently owns a portion of the railroad grade north of town. The township is exploring the purchase of this property to preserve it and develop a trail system for use by both residents and visitors. Attached for public review are the Purchase Sale Agreement, along with three additional exhibits related to the property.
